This tour features the fashionable neighborhood around Kenmore, George Washington’s sister’s home and the first restoration project by the Garden Club of Virginia using proceeds from Historic Garden Week. Ticket price includes admission to the following 10 locations:

 
  • Farrington home and garden
  • Starling home and garden
  • Sale garden
  • Branscome home and garden featuring a horticulture display in the pool house
  • Reamy home and garden with flower arranging demonstrations
  • Schwartzman/Smith home and garden
  • Historic Kenmore Plantation and Gardens. Includes a Garden Day Tea hosted by past presidents of The Rappahannock Valley Garden Club dressed in Colonial costumes
  • The James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library  
  • George Washington's Ferry Farm

Advance Ticket Sales: Through April 8. Full advance ticket $25, at the following locations: Fredericksburg Visitor Center, the Spotsylvania Visitor Center and the Stafford Visitor Center.

Luncheon and Special Event Information: Special menus and trolley loop between the following restaurants from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: The Trolley Stop Deli, Sammy T’s, Capital Ale House, Bistro Bethem, Castiglias, and Here & Abroad Bistro & Bakery. Reservations required. Garden Day Wine Tastings start at 4 p.m. at Kybecca, Wegner Gallery, Beck’s Antiques, The Wine Experience, and The Made in Virginia Store. Many downtown art galleries open until 7 p.m.
